• Vacuum gently: Use a suction-only vacuum (no beater bar) once or twice a week. It lifts dust without damaging the fibers.
• Shake it out: Occasionally take your rug outside or hang it; the open weave releases hidden dirt with a good shake.
• Rotate regularly: Every few months, shift the rug’s position. This evens out wear and keeps a handwoven rug looking like new.
• Rug pads: placing a rug pad between your jute rug and the floor will not only prevent slipping but will also add a layer of protection from dirt and moisture.
